Well,George M. AKA "Captain Jones" is up to his old tricks. For those who have not yet read this thread, check out the forum, "Polygraph Policy" on Antipolygraph.org. Look at the message, "Should I take a Polygraph...??" by "Ogonek" on Jan 11, 2005. http://antipolygraph.org/cgi-bin/forums/YaBB.pl?board=Policy;action=display;num=1105482368 It appears that George is giving friendly advice to a potential spy. He is a credit to his country...and to think he was a former Army MI officer. I wonder if "Ogonek" is legit? IP: Logged |

What is to be done about this?------------------ It's a thankless job, but somebody's gotta do it. IP: Logged |

If in fact he is aiding a potential spy, there may be a lot done with it. However, the post seems a little on the fishy side to me and I can almost smell the bait on the hook. I highly doubt that someone engaged in such a sensitive activity, not to mention the seriousness of potential penalties, would come to an open forum and discuss them with George or anyone else. It is already public knowledge that George logs IP and other computer information of visitors to his site. This information can be obtained via an investigatory subpoena. Even his actions with someone posing as a potential suspect of espionage may get him in some trouble and that may be the tactic here. I think we should stay out of the conversation and let the old cliché of “if you give them enough rope, they will hang themselves” kick in.

I agree entirely with J.B. This one sounds fishy but you never know. Some folks do stupid things. Lots of folks have read it and those who need to see it, have as well. Let's see where this goes.

Call me gullible, but I think that the Ogoneck post is probably genuine. If it's a fake, it's a pretty good one. But if it is just bait on a hook, whose the fisherman and whose the fish?1) Is George getting his jollies by trying to send the FBI on a wild goose chase? 2) Is "Ogoneck" having a laugh by pulling George's leg? 3) ?

I guess whatever the case might or might not be, we have little way of finding out. That is unless one of us is duly employed by an enforcement agency that is investigating said remarks on the AntiPolygraph site. My main interest now is in this new instrument or technique referred to in the post as "Polytrophic". Both segments being drawn from words of Greek origin which mean Poly = many and Trophic = nourishment, respectively. Maybe this new test involves the over nourishment of a subject to gain truthful information? [This message has been edited by J.B. McCloughan (edited 01-12-2005).] IP: Logged |

Hey guys, Was it not a similar spy issue that caused George to fail his two polys? Ted
